Documentary Filming
at Gene Furbee’s Monday morning class this Monday. This is be a documentary on seniors, with Laughter Yoga being part of it.

If you would like to support Laughter Yoga, show up before 10:30am at Gene’s class on Monday. Location 3200 Linwood Avenue (at Tolmie). Linwood Court, middle building in the lounge. Arrive early to ensure parking available. By donation: suggested $5-10.


Laughter Yoga Lifts off in Esquimalt

We have lift-off! The Saturday Esquimalt Club has blasted off, with much sound and fury…and of course, great joy. Nine of us enjoyed an hour of child-like play, laughter and joy on the second week. Thanks to one and all (including two new folks) for adding your energy and willingness to the proceedings.

Expect a few new twists this Saturday as I am working/playing to keep Laughter Yoga fresh, fun and frolicky (Is that a word?…it is NOW! Very good, Very good, Yay!). We are taking a page from the Taiwan Club’s playbook and starting to utilize the 4 elements of joy. Besides laughter, there is singing, dancing and child-like play.

A great time guaranteed for all…why if, you don’t like it, you can have double your misery back…joke, joke, it’s a joke…I don’t know many, so bear with me.

Look forward to seeing you there in out wonderful new space at Metta In Motion Yoga studio 1314A Esquimalt Road. Head west on Esquimalt Road, just past Admirals Road on the right side, a couple of doors down from the BCLDB store. Parking on the street. 1pm – 2pm Saturday.

Suggestion: Why don’t we take a page from the workers at the IKEA furniture world headquarters in Sweden. The workers who arrive early, park at the far end of the parking lot, furthest away from the plant and office. That is so other workers who arrive late won’t have as long a distance to walk. They know that workers who arrive later will be more rushed and will have less time to get in the office, so they are courteous to them and voluntarily choose to walk a longer distance because they are earlier and have the time. Isn’t that amazing?

Anyway, see you Saturday at 1pm. Free or by donation. Suggested $5-$15.
