Documentary to Include Laughter Yoga


This in from Laughter Yoga Leader Gene Furbee:
“I would like to invite laughter leaders and others to participate in a film on Successful Aging being done in a six part series for Vision TV.

I have been contacted because the producers have an idea that Laughter Yoga may be beneficial for the aging process and they would like to film the class that I run on Mondays at 10:30- 11:30.

They would also like to be able to interview a few select participants regarding their experience of Laughter Yoga. So this is an invitation to attend the class on Monday April, 16 at 10:30 at 3200 Linwood (at Tolmie) in the Linwood Court Building in the center of the housing complex.

It would be great to have a large turnout for this filming and to get the message out to a wider audience about Laughter Yoga.” -Gene

Stop Smoking with Laughter Yoga
Smoking is a habit which causes a lot of stress and health-related challenges. However, smoking used to be considered something de-stressing for the person inhaling the fumes.
As calming as it may seem to the person who smokes, we probably all know of the dangers of smoking… So how come, with so many techniques and tools to help people quit, how come there are still so many people who smoke?
Perhaps there hasn’t been a true remedy to heal the need? How about trying Laughter Yoga as a means to stop smoking? People have started laughing on a daily basis and have given up smoking in the process.
