Laughter Yoga at Toasmasters

 

Monday and Tuesday nights, I gave my first talks at two Toastmasters clubs in Victoria, Thunderbirds in James Bay and Oak Bay.

 

“Laughter is the Best Medicine for Toastmasters…and Other Humans” was the title.

 

It was well received, even though I did lose my balance when I was demonstrating “Winning the Lottery Laughter.” I fell on my back on the floor. It was hilarious, I thought, though not planned.

 

Later I reflected on the quote: “If you stumble, make it part of the dance.” Perhaps I should not have admitted that I did not plan the fall. J

 

Anyway, we may see one or more new faces at Laughter Yoga on Friday night

 

7pm at Heart of the Village Yoga Studio, #206-2186 Oak Bay Avenue. Just beside Ivy’s Bookstore.
