Time to Take Laughter Seriously.

Laughter has a profound impact on both the brain and the body. It releases endorphins, the body’s natural pain killer, it lowers stress hormones in the body, it normalizes blood pressure, relaxes muscle tension and can also increase white blood cell count…that means a more efficient immune system.

A Standford Study showed that 30 seconds of laughter is the equivalent of 10 minutes on a rowing machine when it comes to the impact on our heart rate.

Even  forced laughter works. A Wharton study showed that those who forced laughter before a complex task, had more creative decision making and greater analytical precision. That also lasted for 90 days after the forced laughter.
