Delightful Laughter Yoga in the Sun: Victoria Laughter News August 18, 2014

The last two Sundays Laughter Yoga in the Park have been a true delight.

 

Two Sundays ago, we had 28 wonderful folk and yesterday 29. (At this rate, we will have 100 in 71 weeks…haha)

 

We had a unique experiment in that we LY Leaders took up the challenge to only do laughter exercises that we made up. It could not be anything that we have done before…or even seen done before. I gave no notice that we were doing this and the LY Leaders rose to the occasion. It is amazing what creativity bubbles up when we stay in the moment. What a great time we had.

 

Yesterday, we had a more “classical” approach with a good number of new participants as well. I believe everyone enjoyed it. Bit of a challenge with that number not to go overtime. I think it is important to finish close to on time so people who may have other items on their agenda on a beautiful summer Sunday can get on with their day.

 

Feel free to join us again every Sunday 10:30am in Beacon Hill Park, by the sundial in the centre of the park…near the washrooms. For the summer anyway. Miho wants to keep it going all year. Wow, she is one dedicated laugher.
