(Pilot Program, 6 weeks, starts on Feb. 12th. Pass this on to anyone who you think might be helped)

A Doctor in Indiana had success. A woman who had been sexually abused, who locked all the doors, had a hammer and mace under her bed and had nightmares every night…

All that…gone…after just one Laughter Yoga session.

As a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher, I was asked to lead a Laughter Yoga session with some folks from the Esquimalt Naval Base.

One guy said afterwards that it was the first time he had felt happy in a long time. Another participants said the same.

“To be intuitive, we must cultivate our sense of humor and look for reasons to laugh everywhere. We become so self-absorbed and serious when it comes to our problems and melodramas that we disconnect from our deeper sense of who we are as beautiful souls—we withdraw from life instead of enjoying it. Laughter brings us back to ourselves and back to life.” Sonia Choquette

When cells get enough oxygen, cancer will not and cannot occur.” (My bolding) **Dr. W. Fry states that 10 minutes of hearty laughter is equal to 30 minutes or rowing or jogging.(Journal of General Psychology, 1938) Laughter Yoga goes beyond just laughter. Founder Dr. Madan Kataria has developed techniques to stimulate childlike playfulness, to adjust the aerobic and stretching component, and to promote emotional flow and release. Laughter Yoga can improve your physical health, release negative thoughts and emotions and get in touch with your spiritual nature. It helps us to develop an attitude of forgiveness, generosity, compassion and helpfulness while actively seeking the happiness of others. Combined, these principles can provide a powerful life-changing experience that we call the inner spirit of laughter. Laughter Yoga Clubs are non-political, non-religious, non-profit. This is exciting, Matti. Did you see a segment on local tv with a vet talking about his PTSD and about 20 years later realized how badly it had affected his family? He was starting something for famiiies. Maybe he would go to your group.

I know from my own experience how much LY can help with anxiety.

Do you know what time your interview will be shown on Channel 4 on Saturday?
