Thousands of club in 100 countries celebrate every year by laughing for no reason. (i.e. not relying on chance to laugh)

Laughter Yoga Leaders Making a Difference Around the World

I like to share with you an amazing experience we are making at a senior home in Milan, Italy. I was asked by a psychologist (she is also a LY leader) to give some classes for some special ladies.

 

They are mentally and physically challenged. Some of them are no more able to speak, some of them are no more able to move, to see, to interact “normally” with other people.

 

Some of them have lost their memory, some of them have completely lost time perception, so they imagine their parents died two days ago, instead of twenty years ago… Yet, the outcomes of our classes are actually amazing, extraordinary, I would say….

 

One lady, who looked completely absent from what we were doing, suddenly started to sing. She was perfectly singing an old song, without words, cause she is not speaking anymore since many years…but she did it! And she laughed!

 

I usually spend nearly half an hour to hug them, to kiss them, to tell them I love them. Yes, I’m telling the truth.

 

Dear Madan, the inner spirit of laughter is nothing else than unconditional love. Thank you
